REQUIREMENTS:
School Board members must be United States citizens, at least 18 years of age, residents of Illinois and the School District for at least one year immediately preceding the appointment, and registered voters. School Board Members must complete at least 4 hours of professional development leadership training in education and labor law, financial oversight and accountability, and fiduciary responsibilities within the first year of his or her first term. School Board Members must complete training on the Open Meetings Act within 90 days after taking oath of office. Candidates must be available for 4 hours of Board orientation. The term for this appointment will end April 17, 2023.
